Chatham Kits

BACK
LSWR CORRIDOR COACHES
Price List

These coaches were built in large numbers from 1903 onwards for main line use and continued in service with the Southern Railway and British Railways until the mid 1950's.

The brake thirds were built, some with left-hand corridors and some with right-hand corridors. This meant that on the original sets the corridor took alternate sides all the way down the train. They worked all the principal expresses of the L.S.W.R and after the grouping appeared on the South Eastern and Central Divisions as well. They ended their days back on the South Western Division.

Our kits are complete with partitions, corridor walls, working scissors gangways and can be compensated with our separate units.

One of several similar diagrams for composite coaches. 18 were built between 1904 and 1908. Most would have been in sets.
