Etched brass kit. In 1909 the Metropolitan Railway refurbished a number of their eight wheel coaches to extend their life. From 1911 onwards most of these were sold to other railways. Two were sold to the Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway and some may have been included in the Rhymney batch, but none went to the Isle of Wight Railway.
