Etched brass kit. In 1909 the Metropolitan Railway refurbished a number of their eight wheel coaches to extend their life. From 1911 onwards most of these were sold to other railways. As well as running on the Metropolitan, six were sold to the Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway, several on the Rhymney Railway and five on the Isle of Wight Railway. The IWR coaches survived into Southern days and bodies still exist.
