4C70 SECR Grande Vitesse Luggage Van

Etched brass kit. SECR Diag 4/3725 SR Diag 954 Fifty of these attractive vans were built in 1901 for the SECR by Hurst Nelson. They were used for passengers luggage, parcels and express perishables traffic. In SR days they appeared all over the system, being noted in several West of England milk trains. All were withdrawn by 1931.
