4C01 LSWR 48ft Brake Third

Etched brass kit. LSWR Dwg 606 SR Diag 111 Built from 1894 onwards. Very common in many kinds of train, particularly the so-called '41/2 sets' formed of Brake Third (4C1), Composite (4C2), Composite (4C19), six wheel Brake (4C7). Withdrawn in the late 30's when two were sold to the KESR and lasted until 1947/48. 7mm kit shown.
